I had my hair braided by Rhoda for the first time and she done an exceptional job! She customised the hair colour exactly as I had requested and gave me the most beautiful box braids. Not only was she extremely welcoming and great company for the duration, she is clearly an expert – at no point in the process was I uncomfortable. And with her two assistants helping too, I felt like a Queen! The aftercare instructions have been great, 4 weeks on and my braids are still looking wonderful. Will definitely be returning to Rhoda again in the near future.

I had my crotchet done at this salon and I loved my hair! From the hair wash to the weaving, and then fixing of the crotchet , everything was nicely and neatly done. She also paid attention to my comfort all the while doing it and made sure to attend to any concerns I had regarding the hair. Also, I appreciate the ease of booking appointments and timeliness in communication with regards to change of appointment . Overall it’s a great experience visiting this salon. Rhoda HQ offers a Stella hairdo and has good service. When I visited Rhoda HQ, the hairdresser was super early, gave me a comfy place to sit and provided me with some nice drink of water. Throughout the plaiting, there was someone to chat to (the hairdresser has an awesome sense of humour) and the hairdresser consistently asked if I was comfortable or needed a break.
After the hairdresser was done plaiting, she gave me details on taking care of my braids. I can definitely say following these instructions gave me long lasting braids.
I’lll definitely be returning for my next hairdo. So, hopefully we’ll bump into each other. Happy braids and other hairstyles!!!
Rhoda is highly professional, customer-oriented and super patient. What she creates is not even a hairdo, it’s more like a work of art. Not only were my cornrows beautiful and neat, but also long-lasting. Keeping them for 4 weeks instead of the advertised 2-3 was probably overkill on my part but the point is they held their own.

Rhoda has been doing my braids now for around 4 years and she is one of the most professional and nicest people I have ever met. she does an absolutely wonderful job everytime and although standing sometimes for 9 hours and aching hands she always leaves the way she arrives, with a big lovely smile on her face. always look forward to seeing her and would consider her a good friend as well as the best braider ever. would never let anyone else do my braids. I would highly recommend. She was the fastest braider I’ve ever had, while still being precise and offering a lovely end result. My braids are full, but not heavy, firm but not tight. My daughter, an honest critic, told me I was pretty. I’ll be back in a couple of months for my next appointment…
